From the time our chicks are born, they are handled with patience and care, protected from the cold, nurtured with soft, clean bedding, and provided plenty of fresh water and feed.

At 2 weeks old our healthy chicks are moved to an outdoor bottomless pen that is surrounded by electric fencing for predator control. The chicks are able to scratch for insects, forage for succulent young greens, eat all of the grain-based feed with supplemented kelp they desire and get plenty of fresh air and sunshine. Because of all this care, our birds live in a stress free environment which in turn provides health benefits to the consumer.
