Having stay at many cabins in the past, I can honestly say this is one of my favorites!  So charming and quaint in every way.  Amazing location as well, private but convenient at the same time.  The lamb and eggs were so delicious too!  Loved everything about this cabin and hope to come back again!  Thanks for an unbelievable weekend!

December 21-28, 2011 - Jonathan & Amanda
This was an incredible week!  Great lamb, amazing farm-fresh eggs!  The hot tub is relaxing and private! The house is totally charming and comfortable!  The animals are so cute and fun to see!  Sam, the LARGE white sheep dog is sweet loyal and so loveable.  The hosts, Steve and his wife ( and daughters) are extremely affable and generous!  They have treat us very well and made us feel at home here.  We took a horse-back riding trip to a place called Sandy Bottom, had a great time, and saw incredible views.

December 15-16, 2011 - Starla & Willie
This cottage is charming!  We came to celebrate 20 years of marriage.  This place was an oasis!  The mountain views were breathtaking and the atmosphere totally relaxing.  It was nice to stay in a place where every need had been anticipated, that was private, and welcoming.  We hope to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at your beautiful cottage, we had not got the chance this year to getaway for our 30th anniversary and your cottage was the perfect choice for the base camp to enjoy Asheville and hiking in Hot Springs.

November 11-13, 2011 - Bob and Cathy - Greenville, NC
Our girls surprised us with a little get away weekend.  They arranged everything.  We had no idea where we were going (especially when we got on the dirt road in the dark1)  but what a treasure they found.  We enjoyed every minute of it!  We'll be back to see the fire flies!

November 6-8, 2011 - Amanda, Gabrield and Wyatt - Louisville, KY
We were so thrilled when we arrived and saw how absolutely gorgeous and inviting your cottage and farm area.  We felt so comfortable staying here and wish we had longer to stay.  Even baby Wyatt seemed to be happy here, and in awe of the nature and the animals on the farm.  The special outches like the jam, fresh eggs, and handmade pottery just made our stay even more memorable and unique.  We will definitely be back as soon as we can, and will tell all of our friends and family to come too!  Thank you for making our first little family vacation such a special one.

November 4-6, 2011 - Jamie and Doug - Wake Forest, NC
Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful cottage on your farm.  It is exactly what we were looking for a mini-mini getaway.  Because of our short stay, we did not get probably the full farm experience but it was a pleasant place to come back to after a day in Asheville.  The cottage had everything and more and appreciated all the homey touches.  We would recommend your property to anyone seeking a quiet getaway.  Thanks again!

October 27-31, 2011 - Becky and David - Louisville, KY
We saw rain, we saw snow and sun and all were great.  We also saw some great costumes in Asheville - the nun on a bicycle my favorite.  We had a wonderful time at your cabin (2nd wedding anniversary) and the views were just hard to describe - beautiful.

We had the most magical couple of days here.  Surrounded by stars and mountains, your property helped us to stay in the moment.  The accommodations were magnificent - bouth coutry-living and luxurious.  We will be back someday.

Alough, the cabin is much more suited to a romantic getaway for two our small family thoroughly enjoyed our little retreat.  Crisp fall days and starry nights and sweet dreams.  Small personal touches and overall attention to detail make this cabin very special.  We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality of your precious little cottage.  We were in such need of relaxation, peacefulness, and pretty scenery being from Atlanta.  The kids, Kayl & Bliss, had so much fun in the soaking tub and we did too.  Your whole property is beautiful...something my husband and I dream of having one day!  We had a blast!!!

September 27-October 4, 2011 - Echo and Cody - Knoxville, TN
Thank you, you wonderful and beautiful people for creating such a wondrous / stress free cabin of love!  We enjoyed our stay as newlyweds and we had everything we needed and beyond!  From the stunning views to the ever-so-cute and funny wildlife to that magical portal of existential bliss you call a "soaker tub", we were thoroughly charmed.  We could not have picked a better place to bask in the glory of our newlywed love.....together....alone....in the woods....the call of the wild...also with TV....and so close to Asheville...(my sentence structure is now lost and so, for the first time ever, I will end a note in parenthesis....Thanks)

September 23-25, 2011 - Karen and Shawn
Thank you for everything!  We really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful cabin, and the eggs were great!

September 17-18, 2011 - Steve and Nan - Asheville, NC
Thank you Robertsons, one and all.  Our stay was brief, but very enjoyable.  We only traveled 40 miles from home - but the settings and accomodations felt like a real "getaway".

September 11-14, 2011 - Thomas and Jena - Bedford, VA
We came here as newlyweds to spend our honeymoon at your cottage.  I cannot imagine a better way to spend our first days of marraige.  This place allowed us to get in touch with one another, with nature, and with a simple way of life that reminded us of our hometown.  Thank you for your hospitality along the way and we hope this place continues to thrive and be as enjoyable for others as it has been for us.

September 9-11, 2011 - Joan and Andrea - Charlotte, NC
A place of paradise.  Thank you for such a wonderful, relaxing retreat.  This was the first time my husband and I have been able to sneak waway from work, graduate school, family, and friends for some time just the two of us can share.  Meadow Branch was peaceful and allowed us to enjoy life for a weekend.  We will definitely recommend East Fork Farm to our friends.  You have created something special here.  We will be back for sure.  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

September 5-9, 2011 - Kate & Ward - Madison WI
Far enough away from everything to relax and near enough to activities to not spend much time driving.  The views, the sheep, the soaking tub - Superb!  We also had a lovely conversation with Autumn, a great young lady.
Comment from owner - Both of our girls love to take visitors on tours and tell them all that they know about the farm.

September 2-5, 2011 - Lee and Mary Jo - Lexington, KY
Thanks so mcuh for creating this wonderful mountain retreat!  We so enjoyed our stay here - allowed us to visit our son and his girlfriend in Ashevoille without having to stay there.  Enjoyed an Asheville street festival, hiked around trails near stackhouse, but couldn't wait to get back to the hot tub and the hills.  Your cottage is perfect!  the lamb sausage and eggs - outstanding!!!  Thanks for much Stephen, Dawn and girls!

August 26-28, 2011 - Kelly and Zach - Wilmington, NC

August 10-13, 2011  -  Kristi & Trevor - Lexington, KY
We had a truly wonderful stay here at Meadow Branch - you've created the perfect retreat to escape the city life & life's busyness.  We loved the mountain view, listening to the sheep, and the seclusion of it all.  Thank you immensley for letting us observe and pick your brains about farm life (watching the duck process will certainly rank as one of the most unique aspects of our time here)!  Thank you for your transparency, hospitality, and generosity - we loved the farm tour by Madison, she is a real gem!  The farm eggs and meat were savored and a much appreciated bonus.  We're so glad friends who stayed here in May recommended this place to us and will look forward to telling others about it and making a return visit ourselves.  Blessing on your family & farm - may God give you more than you could ask of imagine!

August 5-10, 2011  - Brett and Kirsten Howard - Roswell, GA
Great time hiking, biking, golfing and taking in the fresh mountain air.  Such a unique place nestled in the hollow.  Enjoyed seeing the turkeys trot across the field and sheep grazing.  Best of luck with your farm and family.

What a beatiful cabin and beatiful land - thank you so much for sharing it with us.  Loved all the farm animals and all your hard work.  Picturesque views are outstanding.  Japanese hot tub - serene and relaxing.  Many Thanks!

July 7-9, 2011 - Nancy and Bob - Ocala, FL
We only stayed for two nights but can truly say they were the BEST 2 nights of our week long vacation.  We spent outr time in NC Gem mining - lots of hard work at the mines - we started in Franklin then came here & went to crabtree Emerald mine and Little Pine Gamet mine with success at each one.  The hot tub felt great after a day of mining.  We were greeted the first morning by a beatiful hawk outside the patio window - the views are spectacular, the farm fresh eggs were great and the ground lamb was outta this world.  This place is a "diamond" in the rough!  We volunteer at an owl sanctuary in Ocala FL and we always look for nature settings to try and stay at - this was definitely one of those places.  Thank you again for a great place to rest and relax.  We will definitely tell all of our family and friends and will definitely be back!  Keep doing what you are doing!  The lightning bug show each night was awesome.

July 2-5, 2011   Tammy & Rick - Chattanooga, TN
Found this jewel on the internet!  Ah....theproblems and anxieties flew down the valley!  We had a great time.  The tub was great with a cup of coffee in the morning.  This was the first experience of tasting a lamb steak...delish!  I have stayed in a few cabins and some B&B's, but this was the most enjoyable.  We went to Black Mountain, downtown Asheville and the NC Arboretum.  Wish we had some of these experiences in Chattanooga.  We will be back and tell our friends about this secret hide out.
